First off, I'd like to send my deepest condolences to the family on the passing of La Wera. Y'all are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all.

My memory of Laura was here smile, respect, and most of all the love she showed to EVERYONE!!!!! She cared for my daughter when she was working at the hospital. I was going through a little something of my own and didn't want my daughter around me. Well Laura had asked me if it was ok if she kept my daughter with her at the nurse station while she worked. I said yes. She took very good care of her everyday that I was there. She fed her she changed her she loved on her and did so much more as well. Things I should have done she did it all for me.

I would go by the house on Clinton to visit my brothers and to see the kiddos. I would make it a point to tell her that I was leaving and that I loved her. She would step back with one hand still on my shoulder smile really big and ask "Do you really Jolie" I'd then reply with a "yes Laura I really do" Laura would smile so big and then give me one of her right hugs and say "I love you too". But that smile of hers! That smile always ALWAYS made me fell loved by her. ALWAYS!!! You will be dearly missed by so many, Laura.
Fly high with the Angels and my Daddy. May you rest in eternal peace.
